I have used dial a flight on a number of occasions now, and have always been impressed with their service.
I found them on a web site, but as the title suggests you cannot book the flights over the internet. The web site gives you a quote for your flight and the telephone number. Quite often though when you get through to them and quote the price there is a drawback to the price. When I was generally looking around for a flight to Alicante for my son about 6 weeks ago, I found this what seemed a really good deal, £49 return!!! I rang Dial a flight and found that he would have had to travel first to Barcelona and then onto Alicante. A bit of a marathon for a short flight really, even though the price was brilliant. It does not mention these things on the web site.
However I am actually writing an op on the telephone service so must not deviate else I'll get my knuckles wrapped!!!!
The first time I used them I got a good deal to The Gambia for myself and two children. I found what I wanted in the brochure first. Quoted the price less a bit, and they offered me a deal for even less than that. I grabbed it.
Another time on using this service I had to get a last minute flight to Amsterdam for my husband to attend a friends funeral. They found a flight quickly and efficiantly, arranging for him to collect the tickets at the airport on the day, without the usual charge some other travel services make you pay.
The last time I used them was for flights last October 2001. It was a bit of a complicated request this time. I wanted 2 seats on a flight to Malaga, and one seat on a flight to Alicante. But I wanted the flights to be at about the same time, as the Alicante flight was for my son who would travelling on his own for the first time to stay with his father. The girl on the other end of the phone had enourmous amounts of patience with me, as well as being extremely helpful. We did eventually find compatable flights to the respective places at nearly the same time. The price was quite good but it was the timing I was more concerned with. The other request I had was some sort of help for my son at the airport. Not a chaperone all the way, just someone to guide him to the gate etc. The girl found that British Airways offered a service such as this at no extra price. She organised everything for me, with good humour and pleasantness. The flights were all on time and all the services offered were given.
The last time I rang them I even had a conversation with the young man about a television programme he had was hoping to watch after he had finished work at 10pm that night.
While I don't always think the prices they quote for flights are particularly cheap, I would always use them for their charming manners. My son and I even receive a free magazine from them on a regular basis, which is imformative and helpful.

Advantages: 5 star service, efficient in the delivery of tickets, Some really good deals (cheap flight, and holiday deals- hence their name), Website is fast, clear, and precise with a huge array of different travel ideas (with a very useful search facility) Disadvantages: Cannot book online, and therefore have to call their "local rate" telephone number (their staff however are very helpful anyway, so not really a big problem), Can become a lengthy phone call if no availablity (however staff will usually do their best)

Advantages: ALTHOUGH YOU CAN GET THROUGHT TO THEIR OPERATORS BUT ITS IN THEIR INTEREST. Disadvantages: THEY ALWAYS F@#K SOMETHING UP, AND NEVER TAKE RESPONSIBILITY. I AM SO UPSET AND RATTLED. CRAP!!!!

Advantages: Warm weather all year round, Absoloutley beautiful beaches and scenery, Great wildlife tours i.e. Turtle beaches, Friendly and helpful people, generally cheap Disadvantages: Many products unavailable due to its remoteness, can be extremely hot from May to September, Excluding main cities - not many people speak english and will need an Arabic phrasebook
