* Initial Note*
I have been using Dial a flight for a while now, and I have to say that their service is absoloutley impeccable. The staff at the call centre, which currently is located in the swindon area, are absoloutley fantastic. They will do their utmost to help you along the booking process, and if the call begins to become lengthy, they will call you back within the time that they state.
I will give you an example of some of the brilliant flight deals which I have managed to get off dial-a-flight, starting with the best offers.
1. When I travelled to Dubai, in the summer of 2003, I purhcased a ticket for £289!! RETURN! Bearing in mind that the standard air ticket costs about £400. I travelled with Lufthansa, and encountered no problems. (Had to connect in frankfurt however, but only had an hour wait, which in a way is a help in breaking the journey up)

2 KLM tickets, again in the summer and winter of 2002, for £339 and £344. Again a very good ticket price to other comparisons (such as a private travel agent we had used in newton Aycliffe whos service were almost definately inferior to dial-a flight, and Thomas Cook- although they do have a good service, are not very good in offering you really cheap flights)
The reason that Dial a flight can offer its customers such cheap deals is for the following reasons:
1. It has lower overheads than that of a travel agency (although has to pay its employees, it doesnt have to pay retail rates for an optimum travel agent location)
2. They buy in huge quantities, which mean that they recieve hefty discounts. This therefore transfers to the customer - cheers dial a flight.
- So, what was it like for me when I called?-
Well, after speaking with my mother (hopelessly begging her to buy me a ticket to come over to Dubai) she agreed that she could afford a ticket under £300 - bearing in mind that this is almost impossible.
Anyway,. I was feeling pretty glum, and getting used to the idea that I wouldnt be flying over there. Anyway, as I was reading the back of the Mail On Sunday (By the way, if you are looking for good flight or holiday deals, it is always a good idea to have a look at the abck of the sunday papers, as they usually have a lot of companies which are generally very competitive, offering huge discounts on holidays, and sometimes for really ridiculous prices)
Anyway, I had spotted an advert in the paper for dial-a-flight, which had a flight quoted in the paper to dubai, for £211. So I thought great!!
I called them up almost instantly, eager to get this ticket, only to my despair that I had seen the advert on the Monday, and all availability had gone. This next bit, is what really impressed me.
The guy on the other side of the phone, which I badly recollect as being called Mark, read out the different options to me, bearing in mind that I had specified dates. He then suprised me by saying, that if I was flexible with my dates, I could get a really good deal. (He was quoting me over £400 initially)
So I said ok. Starting off with changing the dates day by day, and as the search become more and more tedious ( I.e., would you like the 8th? Yes, - no availability, The 9th? Yes......Blah Blah You get the picture) He then said that if I were to leave the conversation he would find some cheap flights.
When he rang back 20 minutes later, he gave me four options!! This guy had been searching frantically for the last 20 minutes desperately trying to get me a good deal, bearing in mind he never knew exactly the dates I wanted to go.
Obviously I picked the cheaper one, trying to keep in to my stringent £300 budget. I was over the moon, I was going to Dubai, only due to this mans generosity and hard work.
I booked the tickets, very simply, by using my credit card over the telephone, and within a couple of days they arrived, with a complete itinery and instructions manual telling me exactly what to do when needing to get a transfer in Germany.
Since teh efficient service, and gallant efforts by good old Mark, I have not stopped using them. They are definately one of the best agents on the market, and as they grow, only become better.

If you then quote the deal on the website which you have found, to the guy on the help desk, he or she will help you through the booking process.
I will mention one disadvantage of the website, in being that availability is not mentioned and therefore, if a deal is mentioned, it is not necessarily true that you will get a deal for that price.
* Conclusion *
Was extremely pleased, and refuse to use anybody else! I strongly advise that you do to, you wont regret it!

Advantages: Warm weather all year round, Absoloutley beautiful beaches and scenery, Great wildlife tours i.e. Turtle beaches, Friendly and helpful people, generally cheap Disadvantages: Many products unavailable due to its remoteness, can be extremely hot from May to September, Excluding main cities - not many people speak english and will need an Arabic phrasebook
