Advantages: Close to the airport for transfers, Great Food.
Disadvantages: Lots of seaweed gets washed up on the beach.

...Flight Out: I used Virgin Atlantic who fly out here. The flying time is 8 hours but, because of the time difference, it was the equivilent to a 4 hour flight (great). Of course this means the opposite coming back. Its 8 hours flying but you have to add 4 hours onto the time. Not so good Landed: The resort is within a 10 minute drive of the airport. Once there, the drive with the coconut palm trees gives you the clues that you've well and truely arrived. All in: The hotel is fully-inclusive so all the food (even in the 2 specialist food restaurants) is all in, as are MOST drinks. If you want a bottle of 'champers' with a meal, this is extra. Advantages: Wonderful, majestic hotel

...Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa at Walt Disney World in Florida is the flagship of all the Disney hotels located at Walt Disney World (WDW) and is based upon a turn of the century Floridian resort. The hotel is predominantly white and pink with bright red roof tiles that make it visually quite stunning and make it look almost like cotton candy: this is definitely the hotel that will appeal most to little girls who want to be a Disney Princess!! There is the main building of the hotel which contains the lobby as well as shops and restaurants and some of the more expensive hotel rooms and suites. The other hotel accommodation is located in 7 buildings dotted around the property. Enter St Andrew’s Bay Golf Resort and Spa, the new kid on the block in a town steeped in history and knee-deep in golf shops. Previously, the Old Course Hotel was where rich American golfers tended to spend their dollars, and where students of the town were honoured just to make the beds and clean the toilets. But for nearly two years now, there has been a rival five-star hotel, just three miles from St Andrews, with fantastic views of the coast.
