Advantages: Wonderful relaxed atmosphere, large rooms, all usual Disney extras Disadvantages: None except price maybe, but that's Disney!
Disney's OldKeyWestresort - well what can I say.
I have just come back from this resort and can honestly say that it is soooooo beautiful. It is themed on the Florida Keys and boasts a very laid back and relaxed atmosphere throughout the resort. Every member of staff will go out of their way to ensure that your vacation goes as smooth as possible from start to finish. The resort is made up of 'blocks' of villas, which range from a studio which sleeps 4, right up to a grand villa which will sleep 12 people. The way the buildings are arranged is excellent. They are all around the resort, with a golf course sprawling between them. Combine this with the beautiful landscaping and every villa has a fantastic view. One thing I will say though is that as the landscaping is quite 'lush', some of the ground floor villas have some views ...

I have stayed at this hotel 3 times over 5 years and will most definately use this hotel on any future visits. Its great value for money and gives you the feel that you are part of the magic. The hotel is decorated with huge Disney film characters from 101 Dalmations and Toy Story. There is a huge Mighty Ducks themed Duck pool as well as a Fantasia pool.
ROOMS
The rooms are basic but very clean and of a modest size. (more than enough room to store all of your florida mall shopping) Very effective air conditioning. Hair dryer. TV. Internet access is available but at a charge (I have neverhad time to use this). Irons and Ironing boards. With in the complex there are also washing machines and tumble dryers (a couple of dollars to use)

Advantages: Clean, tidy hotel with excellent service from staff Disadvantages: Noisy hotel near a busy motorway, not enough seats at breakfast
Having previously stayed at The Farifield Inn near International Drive in Orlando, we had hoped that this hotel would be as equally as good. We stayed this time at the 'Fairfield Inn' at LakeBuenaVista. On first impressions things were fine, staff were extremely helpful, polite and friendly, the reception area was large, welcoming and well decorated. The pool area was nice, clean and towels supplied. Rooms were equally well decorated.
Then came time to sleep!! After 2 days I surrendered and went and bought ear plugs to drown out the all night noise from the near by motorway. Windows were single glazed and the motorway extremely busy. Granted it was a busy time of year during the holidays but the motorway caused even more problems - each day we would jump in the car eager to visit one of the many fantastic florida attractions ...
