Ne me quittez pas

Advantages: Excellent location and decor
Disadvantages: Too expensive, inedible breakfast, poor design, a tourist trap

...My wife and I visited Disneyland Paris last month for a week. This op deals with our stay at the Disney land Hotel. Most of the hotel reviews I have read on Ciao were basically the same and were quite boring. Unfortunately this op is just as boring.

DISNEYLAND PARIS THE FIRST TIME

In 1999 we spent 4 nights in Paris and a couple of nights in Disneyland Paris, where we stayed at the Sequoia Lodge.

...
...that keen having already seen Disneyland and Disneyworld in the States.

The most important thing I learnt about holidaying in France was to take my pocket French-English dictionary everywhere I went.

I spent 5 years studying French at school. I could easily translate French into English and vice versa. But I could not converse in French at all. Perhaps that says something about our foreign language education system.

Disneyland Paris Hotel: Luxury and class

Advantages: Luxurious hotel, great facilities
Disadvantages: Very pink and expensive!

Disneyland Paris Hotel I must admit that the (VERY!!!!) pink Disneyland Paris Hotel was not my first choice when visiting Disneyland Paris recently as it did look a bit girlie for me! I have been to DP a few times before and stayed at the Hotel new York which I have always thought was a great hotel. however, in the spirit of compromise I agreed to stay at the Disneyland Paris Hotel! The hotel appears to me to be themed on a grand Victorian Floridian ...
...fits in very well in Disneyland Paris. The rooms: The rooms are very elegantly decorated in pale pastel colours and our room featured a massive double bed but I know that rooms for four people are available with two more normal sized double beds in them. The bedroom has also the usual mod cons that you would expect form a five star hotel including television with a few (but not tons) of international channels, radio, air conditioning, minibar, ...

You will really feel the magic.

Advantages: You';ll feel like a film star
Disadvantages: Expensive - but worth it

...big kid, but I love Disneyland Paris. As a family we have stayed in the Cheyanne Hotel, Sequilla Lodge and Newport Bay on several occassions but when my husband and I decided to have a 5 day break sans kids we opted to stay in the fantastic Disneyland Hotel - what a wonderful experience !! Booking the hotel was no differnet than booking any othe Disneyland hotel - their website is very easy to navigate and booking takes only a few minutes, but ...
...Your first view of the Disneyland Hotel is a pink palace built in Colonial American style with a turn-of-the-century” Victorian feel, with red-tile turrets and jutting balconies, it is very impressive. As our taxi pulled up at the hotel we were greeted by an extremely smart and helpful bell boy with a very classy luggage trolley, who greeted us, loaded our luggage and took us to reception - entering on the red carpet I flt like a film star. As ...

Disney land? More like Dizzy land!

Advantages: Very clean, Themed throughout, Tidy, Pleasant all-over.
Disadvantages: 'Games Room' was lacking, Minibar was damn expensive, little insecure about cleaners.

...was almost right. To me, Disneyland wasn't exactly perfect. However, seeing as i'm reviewing the hotel, i wont hang about. We were lucky enough to be staying at the Disneyland hotel for 4 days. God knows how much money we racked up by doing so, but i can see where the money goes. upon arriving, my eyes are met with a gloriously decorated and sculpted, grand building. Pink-coloured, it fits the bill of disneyland perfectly. It took around 30 minutes ...

For the hotel dwellers, there's a self-service breakfast bar period held until late-morning, hosted in a glorious dining room with splendid architecture and design. If there is a queue (which there will be at certain times at around 10-11AM, and even if there's not, Children and adults can watch or take photo ...

...we have stayed at the Disneyland Hotel. Ok where to start. There are many things wrong and many things right with this hotel. It is very large and very pink! Wrong It is at the main entrance to the park. So, so right after 13 hours of fun. Food is unexceptional for the price. Wrong The Disney charatcters come to visit you at your table. Right, just to see more daughters face when she turned round and Minnie Mouse is blowing her a kiss. Room ...
...I booked was huge, one of the largest hotel rooms I have ever stayed in. Right. Overall the hotel accomodation itself is not exceptional, but the Disney extras make it worth the extra money. I booked family room for the first time and would recommend it. Each of us got VIP Fast Pass, whcih meant we could use the Fast Pass queue as many times as we wanted after 11am. This alone is worth the extra money. Over the three days we must have saved hours ...

Hotel Cheyenne - Disneyland Paris

Advantages: Close to the park. regular bus service
Disadvantages: Small rooms, poor service, weather unreliable

We stayed at the above hotel during October half-term 1999, and were quite excited at the prospect. However, on arrival, the excitement was short lived. We arrived at about 8.30pm, tired and hungry, after a very long day travelling, and found ourselves having to wait for an hour on the coach whilst the receptionist distributed room keys to the coach driver. The hotel was designed in the style of a wild-west ranch and the accommodation blocks were spread about in about a mile radius, needless to say, we were in the furthest block away from the reception/restaurant area. The rooms were en-suite, but very small, providing a double bed and bunk bed. The room had a TV, with a park information channel park, and a wide range of multi-lingual channels, there was however only 2 English channels. For breakfast, which was included in ...

Hotel New York, Disneyland Paris

Advantages: Good location and appealing to adults
Disadvantages: Not as appealing to children

I have stayed at quite a few of the Disney Hotel and the Hotel New York is definitely my favourite. It is the second most expensive of the hotels to stay in (after the Disneyland Hotel) but has many advantages! This is also the smallest hotel on Disney property and has the advantage of having smaller and more intimate restaurants and virtually no queues for breakfast! Rooms: The rooms are bright and airy and are decorated with 'Big Apple' touches everywhere (see if you can find them!) If you can, as for a room on a high floor, water view as the view over Lake Disney at sunset/sunrise is amazing! All rooms feature air conditioning, satellite TV, in room safe, hair dryer and two double or one king size bed as well as writing desk and arm chair. Overall, the rooms are well proportioned and thought out. Location: The hotel is ...

Disney Fun in the Wild West

Advantages: Great theming, lovely comfortable rooms, excellent value. Fantastic!
Disadvantages: Check-in can take a while and breakfast can get a little busy

Hotel Cheyenne, Disneyland Resort Paris Location This hotel is situated in the resort of Disneyland Paris. It is located approximately 15 minutes walking distance or 2 minute shuttle bus ride from both the Disneyland Park and the Studios Park and around 10 minutes walking distance or 2 minute shuttle bus ride from Disney Village. The Hotel The Cheyenne is a 2 key (star) Disney hotel. Rather than one large hotel, The Cheyenne is made up like a village from the wild west. It is cowboy themed and has many different 2 storey buildings set out in an L shape with the services in the middle. The Rooms The wild west theme is continued to the interior of the hotel, where the rooms have a cowboy boot lamp and are decorated with a cowboy border. The rooms are designed to sleep four. There is a double bed and a set of bunk ...
