The Character Breakfast at Disneyland is a must. While in the park and you see your favourite Disney character, it is very hard to spend the time you want to with them. However, by booking a character breakfast there is a chance for you to meet your favourite characters for so much longer than you would if you were outside holding autograph books to their faces. You get to see all characters that are at the breakfast at the day?

When we booked our 5 day trip to Disneyland Paris, we were asked if we were interested in the Disney Character breakfast. We had had this in previous years, and we decided to do it again, as peope we had taken had not been on the Disney Character breakfast. We had a young person in the group, but there were older people too who enjoyed it just as much as the little one. You can also book it at your hotel that you are staying at, and I think that you can book it at a stand which is in Disney Village. Disney Village is just outside the gates of Disneyland. You can ask a member of staff in the Disneyland Paris park about booking a character breakfast.

The Disney breakfasts are available at different parts of the park, and outside of the park at the Disney Village. This is owned by Disney but just a few metres away from the main entrance. This is a really cool place, so make sure you check it out if you go to Disney, in Paris. You can also have it at your hotel, but I am not sure at which hotels and when, so please ask when you are booking, or when you arrive at Disneyland. We had ours at Disney Village at a little cafe, with two floors, called The Micky Mouse Cafe. It was very stylish and groovy looking. Very flash, and such a great atmosphere to be apart of.

If you don't want to have a breakfast with the characters, you don't have to. You can have lunch, or dinner too. These happen at the same palces as the Disney breakfasts, still with the favourite characters and stars. I have included some parts about teh food below.

I have only had the Disney breakfasts, and not had a Disney lunch, or dinner. The price for this is abit pricey, but it would ruin it in my opinion if you did it more than once during one stay, as it is that one special moment you have with the Disney characters. The character breakfast started at Disney Village at 9:30, so we had to up and out of the hotel by 8:50. We did not want to miss our Disney bus, which is free from all Disney hotels, and walk two to three minutes to the village from where the bus drops you off. I advise you get to the character breakfast a good 10-15 minutes early, you can grab a drink or something to eat while you wait, as it is all included in the price of your entrance to the cafe.

The food was amazing. A long tabled buffett always being topped up with fresh fruit, and vegetables. Cooked and cold meats, cereals, yougurts, and fried breakfasts, with fresh ingredients, such as sausages, tomatoes, beans, toast, so much to mention, but the amount of food to choose from is unbelieveable. You do have alot of chocie, and it is designed for non-vegeterians, and vegeterians. The drinks include tea, coffee, and juice. You can drink milk too, and water of course.

There are about 10-15 characters that come round to each table, the tables are spreaded out so you have your special time with them, and also no other people pushing infront of you. You have about 2-3 minutes with each character, and they will come out 3 or 4 at a time, and each take a corner so it is even, and a nice time for you to relax, and not have to see all the characters at once, so you can enjoy your breakfast at the same time too. They sign pictures, autograph books, and other items. Some will refuse to, but alot of them will. They will play around with you, and they play their character very well. Minnie and Mickey come round to see you too, also Donald, Goofy, Gadget, Timone, Pumba, King Louie, plus loads loads more. There are loads that you will have your personal time with, great to bring the camera, to remember your special moments.

You don't order any food, so talking to staff is only really if you have a problem. We didn't need to talk to any staff. The only staff we needed to talk to was the polite lady at reception who told us where to sit, took our tickets, and made sure we were at the right place. the staff are there to take any plates on your table, so it is clean and tidy. The chefs are there, topping up the food too, so there is no parts of the buffett left empty.

The cafe is so clean. Every inch of the cafe, upstairs and down is spic and span. The cutlery is clean, and so is the service. The cleanliness was great, and very hygenic.

I thought that they value of the character breakfast was okay. For each person, you are looking from £15 per person. However, Disney are always doing deals so look around and find the best deal before you buy the first deal you see. I suggest looking on the internet for the best prices, and if buying on the phone or at the park is cheaper.

Overall, it was an amazing 1.5 hours, special moments, and memories you will cherish for years to come. You and your children will have such an amazing experience, I've done it twice, and I want to do it again next time I go. I have captured some amazing pictures, and the youngest person in our group got their autograph book nearlly packed with autographs from the characters we saw at the breakfast.
