I have just come back after a 3 night stay at Disneyland Paris. We stayed on the resort at the Sequoia Lodge.

My kids had an absolutely great time here and there was plenty for them to do. The whole place was very magical for them and they were up very excited every morning.

The parades (2 a day) were magical and a chance for them to see all their favourite characters. The characters did take turns to visit the hotel as well.

Having been to the disneyland park before (1997) I did not really see a great amount of difference, however, recently a new Studio Park has opened. The Studio Park was completely different (except the usual shops etc). Our favourite part was a motor show which lasted about 30 minutes. The show was about how they do stunts in the movies with bikes and cars. All of us thought it was great - even my little girl who has just turned 2. The studio park consisted of lots of shows and a few rides. This can easily be done in a half day (queues allowing). Well worth a trip.

Disneyland as a whole is extremely expensive. Food costs a fortune ( we took food from the breakfast buffet for lunch to save some money). The shops are everywhere and very inviting to kids. In the evening all the restaurants have large queues and many do not accept reservations. An average main meal was £10-£15 pp with kids meals ranging from £7-£10 pp.

All the 'crew' are very approachable and speak excellent english.

I will defintely take my kids again but the bank balance takes a big hit!!
