My self, my husband and our two children aged 5 and 2 visited this hotel in the Disney hotel chain in November 2008, we drove from our home in Yorkshire and travelled by ferry from Dover to Calis and then drove to Disneyland, which took about 3 hours, in my opinion it wasnt that bad a journey kids were occupied and slept most of the way.
On arriving to Santa-Fe the reception area was impressive as the Disney characters were signing autographs and posing with the children for photos, i waited with the children while my husband joined the 'conga type' que,
The staff were very friendly and kept the guests amused whilst waiting, they were able to speak mulitple languages which i feel is a must for working in places where people from all over the world visit.
After about half an hour of waiting to check in and choose what time we would ike to eat breakfast we were given a map to our room, on arrivel we found our room, which was clean and comfortable, the room consisted of 2 large double beds and a full bathroom with shower and basic Disney theamed soaps and shampoo. there was plenty of storage space and a colour television. the only down fall i feel was that there wasnt any tea or coffee making facilities in the roms, however there was drinks machines in the corridors of the complex where you could buy coffee/teas for about 1 euro.
There was a shuttle bus to take you to the park which was really busy and some guests were not aware of the standard rules on quing and waiting your turn, they ran every 5 mins so there was not long to wait if there was no room on the first one, i would advise if you were travelling with a pram/pushchair that you walked up the river to the park its a lovely 5/10 min walk where you can feed the ducks etc, this saves trying to battle your way on a bus with no pram access and no room as everyone is pushing and shoving in excitment trying to get on the bus to get to the parks..
Overall a fantastic hotel with gift shop and wide selection of breakfast foods to cater for everyones tastes
Sorry for the rating but this category is for reviews of Disneyland Paris not of hotels there, you need to suggest this as a new hotel to Ciao to be added if it does not already exist in the database (which I dont think it currently does). I'll be happy to rerate as appropriate once this is in the correct place :)
