Fun for all ages!
Well I've been to L.A (California) a very looong time ago- when I was a child, around 2001- (So I might not remember much), but my most unforgettable memory was when I went to Disney land. I went with my mother and brother and two other family friends, we went by car- didn't take quite as long as I thought it would- anyway Disney land was incredible, it's really wonderful for younger kids- I think that kids should have as much fun as possible when young as when time goes by they gradually start to grow up they cant do the same things as before (become matured)- so a child should make the most of its childhood by going to places like "Disney land"- which is full of brilliant surprises- like rides and entertainment- the great thing is that it's not only specialised for kids- it's also a fun place for adults too. My mother had such a marvellous time there too, I even managed to convince her to join me on some of the rides :) Disney land has skilfully made different types of ride; some for younger kids aged 4-6, some for 7-12 and some for teens and adults aged 13-whatever age! I think I might have even seen some old people! :) That's pleasant because now including kids and adults- the "elderly" get to enjoy themselves too! It's a great place to be in! I bet many used to think that theme parks were mostly produced for kids and the younger aged people…but now they can all think differently! - Since Disney land resort is for all ages! Cool isn't it?
Kids can fulfil their dreams!
All the Disney characters are seen there including most of the Disney princesses, which is very wonderful for children- mostly young girls- because every girl's dream is to be a princess, right? (Mine definitely was :) ) and I think its really upsetting for them to know "that they're really all a fake, just a bunch of people dressed up looking like them" So I think it's great for them to live in their own little fantasy world where all these gorgeous-looking princesses live, with lovely long hair and dresses etc. So when they actually see the Disney princesses in real life and not only on telly they have their dream come true and they can live in their own little fantasy world for the whole day and feel like a real princess! Every young girl should achieve her dream and coming to "Disney land resort" would really help her accomplish it too!
A little about the theme park!
The park is filled with rides and entrainments; there are many stores for souvenirs selling great stuff like teddy bears and mugs etc. It's a must-have item when coming back from a trip because it holds all your fondest memories. I remember getting this really cool princess moneybox, which was so nice, as every time I look at it, I remember Disney land and all my reminiscences there. Also there are many, many food shops there, there's practically every type of food store you would like; burger store, pizza store, ice-cream store, sweet store and many, many more! So whenever you get hungry…wherever you get hungry…there's always somewhere and something for you to eat! Mmm :) There are great entertainment shows like one of the one I remember going to is "snoopy on ice" which was amazingly superb- it was all these people dressed up as snoopy and his friends and they're doing a show…while skating on ice! (How cool is that?)- They sold these cool stuff there too and they really kept us amused! …I assume that there's probably something like that going on practically every day!!!
Sculpture of the park!
The park is sculptured and designed in a way that really excites one. It's fashioned in a way that makes you feel and looks like the real set of a Disney films. The castle- that was actually still under construction when I was there- looked incredible… Exactly like the fantasy world of Disney! I totally loved the way they accomplished to really make people imagine and feel like they're living in a fantasy world for the day …its an amazing experience and feeling! I just wish I could relive the desire of the flights of imagination and the minds eye!
Some disadvantages! :(
Some disadvantages are; that the ticket prices itself are quite expensive and so are the food and souvenirs there! Basically you'll certainly need a lot of money to have a great time, without money- nothing! Secondly some rides are especially specialised for elderly rather than the younger but the difficulty here is that some of the rides are staged by height and not age, so many youngsters can lie about their age because of being tall- this is wrong because it's not safe for many kids to go on the bigger rides! This ones a real toughy! I can't think of many other disadvantages really other than them too- but I'm sure if you go you'll disclose quite more! :S
Prices and times!
The prices that I had to pay to get in were:
Adult- $45.00 Child- $35.00
The times are dependant on which days you go, mostly it's from- 9.00am to 10.00 or 11.00pm
...look up and see the Disneyland Railroad Station. Either side of the beatiful flower arrangements are archways, both to which lead to Main Street U.S.A. When you enter Main Street, the first thing that will hit you are the smells: fresh coffee; candy; happy smells. There's always happy music playing, whether it be a Barbershop Quartet or a band of trumpets, there is no silence. Laughter and friendly chatter can be heard all around, you're surrounded ... ...the newest land in the Disneyland park. If you're headed off for Toontown then prepare to enter the topsy-turvy cartoon world and Disney character neighbourhood. While you're round here you can always pop in for a cup of tea at Minnie's house make a visit to Mickey's, goof about at Goofy's, or step aboard Donald's boat. Of course if house calls aren't your kind of thing, you can just walk around and see what crazy discoveries you make... and trust ...

Advantages: nice attractions Disadvantages: Very crowded, don't get to see everything
Although a visit to Disneyland is something that many, it not all of us, look foward to, you can't really call it the happiest place on Earth, especially not for children. Don't get me wrong, the park has a lot of great rides for children and they have shows and all other sorts of things to see, but traffic there is heavy. You wait in line far too long than you should, and the ride only lasts a couple of minutes, if not less. And the children get ... ...in L.A. so I visited Disneyland frequently, but what about those tourists that visit the park from all the way across the world? My point is, Disneyland gets so crowded that you don't get to see everything in one day, unless you ran around non-stop like a chicken with its head cut off. Disneyland is worth a visit, but the park really should consider lowering its admission price. You pay too much to see too little. ...

...truly is. I have experienced Disneyland both as an adult and as a child and continue to love it to this day. I used to go to Disneyland every summer as a child when visiting family in LA and for kids it is just a magical place. They now have Disney's Toon Town which allows you to visit Minnie and Mickey's House and is a wonderful place to take kids. There are lots of rides for adults too, The Indiana Jones ride being the best. Make sure when you ... ...first as the queues get busy.
It is an expensive place - about $7 for a burger but that is all part of the day.
Shopping is great as there are stalls after each ride with merchandise related to that ride. Be sure to check out the shop after the Star Tours ride, excellent stuff if you like Star Wars.
Take your walking shoes as you will do alot of exercise during the day, but for all round family fun a perfect day out
I'll add a few more tips as ...

Disneyland is a once in a life time opportunity. Though now scattered across Europe, the orginal Disneyland is in Los Angeles California. The prices are very high in the gift shops, restaurants and cafes, and especially ticket prices. To see parades and/ or shows, you have to be ready more than a half hour in advance. The entire park is infested with people every single day during the summer, and almost always during the year as well.
Even though ...

Disneyland is in the Disneyland Resort with Downtown Disney and Disney's California Adventure. Disneyland is the Original Disney Park. This was Walt's dream and it became a huge reality. Advantages: Just about everything! Kid friendly and unforgettable Disadvantages: cost of food
Disneyland is situated in the countryside, about a one hour drive from Charles De Gaux airport.
If driving from the airport to the resort, it can be a little tricky to find, with many winding roads and few landmarks. If travelling on the Eurostar, the shuttle actually takes you to within three minutes walking distance of the park entrance and closest hotels.
The whole of Disneyland is breatakingly dreamy, a true fairytale land for all ages.
Before you arrive at the actual park and huge pink trademark castle, there is a long road filled with a variety of helpful little shops. As well as the expected sweet and toy shop, there is a handy little camera shop, who will copy your memory card onto a disc for about ?5 if you need to free up some space.
The park itself is divided into seperate themed areas, which makes it all incredibly ...

Advantages: Excellent park and great staff Disadvantages: No shuttle bus between Davy Crockett ranch and Disneyland Park, and food
Disneyland Paris was an extrememly good holiday for me and my family. There were five of us, including one disabled and the facilties were generally very good. For my sister, who is disabled, it was relatievly easy to find suitable rides and not have to wait in the long queues for a while, unlike everyone else. This was good, as it is hard for her to stay still in enclosed spaces for too long (such as the queues), and a 'blue' card, which can be enquired about at information enabled four people to go to the front, or nearer the front of queues rather than wait, which made life for us a lot easier. The card could be used on every ride and if you are travelling with a disabled person, you should definitely ask about one at an information point as soon as you get there. Unfortunately for us, we did not know about this until queueing lots ...

Advantages: Fun for all ages, excellent atmospere Disadvantages: Very expensive, not alot of toilet/baby changing facilities
I have just recently came back from Disneyland Paris Resort. Well what can I say WOW. What a fab time was had by all the family.
This was a family trip which included a range of ages from 18 months to a grand old age 60 year old. And I am pleased to say that there was something for all the ages concerned. I would say that the 2 very young ones did come a litle restless from waiting in ques. And yes some of these ques were a fair wait. Ranging from 30mins to 70mins. But the 6yr old throughly enjoyed every minute even the new Hollywood Hotel Terror ride.
This is not a cheap holiday places I would advise if you are to go take more than enough cash, as things are very expensive. But never the less its is worth while going. The resturants in the parks themselves mainly consist of fast food which is alot more expensive than usual ...
