What makes this one stand out from the rest?
Well, firstly, paid surveys are RARE, at least for the time being. According to a message I read on their site a while ago, they hope to add more paid surveys soon but for the moment, payments are restricted to surveys which are especially long or require more input than most (I've never seen a survey longer than 25 minutes, most are between 10 and 20).
It's always obvious from the emailed survey invitation when it's a paid survey, and the payments seem to vary from £1 to £3. My payments have always made directly into my paypal account but the timing seems a little bit random, and it's not possible to see your account balance from the website (would be a nice addition, perhaps a use for their "Suggestions" link ...
I have to agree with most of the complaints here. Chemistdirect is the worst company i have ever dealt with. I placed my order, which i needed quickly, and i waited and waited and waited some more.
I then checked their website to track my order and it was still in the process stage! Not even been dispatched! This is after 5 days. So i emailed them numerous times in a polite manner - no reply at all.
So i rang them, spoke to customer services, who were more in the dark then i was-totally clueless. They didnt know what was holding my order up as everything was said to be in stock. They promised to email me or ring me back and i got neither. All they had were excuses, no solutions. To this day, i have not had any reply from email or phone from them - I have had to do all the chasing.
I should not have to waste my phone credit ...

like the clear look of the display which simply tells you which input you are playing and the station if you are playing DAB. Everything is set out well and looks the usual Denon part. It looks a very smart system overall.
**The Sound**
Now onto the all important Sound test. This is a very highly thought of system and has won many awards and fans for it's sound. Given the small stature of the box and the speakers you will not get seismic bass but the bass you do get is very good and very taut. The treble conveys vocals and instruments well and the overall sound integrates together very well indeed. Although I have this system as a second system in my bedroom it's more than capable of being your main setup if size really is at a premium. A very good sound indeed. Upgrade the speakers and you could get even more but choose the speakers ...
