Advantages: A good story, and Very Good extra’s On the DVD Disadvantages: none
Despite its reputation of wobbly sets, not terribly good effects and such, there are many Doctor Who stories that are simply outstanding and The Caves Of Androzani is one of them, its got lots going for it, there’s the fact that the Doctor and Peri are dying throughout (after having come into contract with a deadly poison), there’s plenty of action, gun running, double crossing and such, a really good script and some great location settings, and much more.

WHY SRI LANKA YOU ASK?
J & I had been to Sri Lanka for a holiday when we first started seeing each other. We had booked a last minute deal & stayed in a guest house . Whilst there we spent our days at the 5* Bentota Beachhotel using the pool & bar, for a small fee of £2 you can go to any hotel & use their facilities. This is a nice way of checking out the other hotels & generally being nosey. We fell in love with the place & decided then that if we went back we would stay at the hotel. One of the main things that had swung it for me was the resident elephant who was also part of the wedding ceremony.
