The Domincan republic is an excellent country to Scuba dive in, make sure your are on the Southern part of the island to enjo the benefits of the Carribeans warm and clear waters. Reef diving here is great and there is an abundance of sealife ; including Barracuda , rays and a small selection of sharks. Cost of diving is very reasonable at about £15 per dive that includes all equip hire and transport to and from dive site. If you are looking for somewhere to learn to dive , if you can find an english speaking school its the best, and if you are qualifying for further diving certs its a good option.
