A Holiday to remember...

Advantages: Your in the Carribbean!!! need i say more?
Disadvantages: All inclusive gets a little boring after two weeks

We visited this hotel as a family of four around three years ago now so i can only give my opinion on what it was like then... Howver i have heard many bad reports on this Hotel on other websites. I do not see why. The sun was amazingly hot all day long, we went in november time so had some showers in the afternoon which we ended up looking forward to as we were so hot all day! Victoria Beach and Golf Resort Dominican Republic

Advantages: Near the beach, friendly staff
Disadvantages: Poor management, insects in food, items stolen from rooms.

We stayed here in July 2008. The staff are lovely, friendly people who are over worked and underpaid. The bar and waiting staff are actually very clever people who speak many languages. They make most of their earnings from tips, so be generous (if you still want to go after reading this). Breezes Hotel Puerto Plata

Advantages: Clean, nice food and lots to do
Disadvantages: Not much night life, book early at resturaunts

I stayed at this 3+ star hotel for 2 weeks last March and overall i was pretty impressed. This hotel located at Puerto Plata was beautifully decorated and very clean and well kept, it seemed more like a 4 star hotel that a 3 star. Advantages: Entertainment, beach, freindly staff, EVERYTHING!!
