Domo Hotel Mondial, Dusseldorf

Advantages: Somewhat cheap, central location for business
Disadvantages: Not especially clean, near some erotic shops

Spent one night here at this two star hotel as we flew into Dusseldorf to begin a ten day trip starting on 10 July 2006. We picked up a rental car from the airport. We were lucky to be able to get on-street parking as we pulled up to the hotel. The hotel is somewhat on a side street near a large street but the side street was residential, which probably explained the tight parking situation. We did have to pay the parking machine a few euro's but ...
...Also in the vicinity are shops that sell stuff of the erotic or adult nature, so its location may not be the best for those with young children or those who may be offended by seeing such things. My wife and I came along with a friend, so the three of us were in a double room. The room had a small foyer-like area with two bedrooms and bathroom.
