I thought I would let people know what I thought of this hotel. I work in the Travel Trade so I can be quite critical!!! Well here we go -
************LOCATION*********** This 3* Hotel is only about 400 metres from the beach and is about 500m the heart of Magaluf (a seriously lively resort)on the south west coast of Majorca. Its is not too far from Palma, about 20km and the same to the airport. The transfer took us about 45 mins. It could be shorter or longer, depending on wre you are on the list to be dropped off.
**********ROOMS******** Our room was on the 4th of 7 floors. It was centrally heated (although thank goodness it wasn't on). On a negative it didn't have airconditioning and I would say that it was a bit dated. The bathroom was bright and had a bath with shower. there was a safety deposit box, direct dial telephone (internal calls are free so take your phone off the hook to avoid drunken unwanted calls in the wee hours of the morning!!!!), satellite television, and a balcony. The room was quite spacious compared to the normal size of spanish rooms. The maid changed the towels as required and changed the bed linen once a week.
**********FACILITIES*********** The facilities available were a 24 hour reception desk with currency exchange services. THankfully there was air conditioning in the buffet style restaurant. There waspublic internet terminals with WiFi access in selected areas of the hotel, although I did not avail of this service. A plus was the fact that they do have luggage and courtesy rooms for late departures. They also have a laundry service, a games room and both lounge and pool bars.
**********POOL**************** There is a large outdoor freshwater swimming pool, with separate children's section, which was very nice and they did tend to keep it quite clean. The sun terraces were also a good size and were furnished with plenty of sun loungers and parasols
********KIDS********** There is a children’s playground and mini-club and they also had pool and table tennis tables.
*********ENTERTAINMENT********** There was a good programme of daytime sporting activities (pool games, archery, aerobics) organised each day. These were arranged by their resident team. I did enjoy the evening entertainment, there was a variety of live music, cabaret and other professional shows several times each week.
************FOOD************ The food was definately basic but then again it is only a 3* hotel. Don't get me wrong there was a selection of things and chips were always served along with a good choice of salads and a fruit bar.
********OVERALL*********** The look of the hotel from the outside leaves a lot to be desired!!!!! Under no circumstances would I recommend this hotel to familys (even though it does cater for them), elderly or people seeking a quite break away from it all in peak season. I did enjoy myself and would return. I would not pay full brochure price, but would not hesitate on a late deal. If there are any readers who are young and looking for a reasonable place to go close to the nightlife and beach, then this is for you.

I am really glad you've written this. My boyfriend and I have booked 10 days half board at this hotel in September this year. I have been reading reviews on the internet and some of them have made it sound like this is the worst hotel in the world. I really hope it isn't as I am really looking forward to this holiday x
