Advantages: fantastic staff, lovely hotel Disadvantages: ants in the bathroom
Cyprus was'nt my 1st choice for a hoiday this year, but Ruth my partners sister telephoned us in August 2004 to say she was getting married abroad in July 2005, and would we like to attend. Of course we said yes and so the task of booking in to the same hotel on the same board status began. Cols sister was traveling with Thomas Cook, so I called them ''no room'' they said '' Oh no'' I said. So on to my trusted PC, entered the name of the hotel in too a search engine and walla - a few moments later we was booked all inclusive in to the Anastasia BeachHotel.
After negotiating Larnaca airport, we located our taxis for the transfer and off we went through barren countryside along a stretch of road that was apparently a Motorway, two lanes and a speed restriction of 100km an hour. We turned off the motorway and past some appartments which ...

If you venture out of the hotel, there is a bus-stop at the entrance, one side of the road takes you to Rhodes Town (7 Euros for 4 people), or on the other side of the road you can go to Falaraki, we taxied it there and it cost 5 Euros each way. Across the road to the Hotel, is the hotel's nature park, although not massive, they do have tigers and a variety ...
WHY SRI LANKA YOU ASK?
J & I had been to Sri Lanka for a holiday when we first started seeing each other. We had booked a last minute deal & stayed in a guest house . Whilst there we spent our days at the 5* Bentota Beachhotel using the pool & bar, for a small fee of £2 you can go to any hotel & use their facilities. This is a nice way of checking out the other hotels & generally being nosey. We fell in love with the place & decided then that if we went back we would stay at the hotel. One of the main things that had swung it for me was the resident elephant who was also part of the wedding ceremony.
Sri Lanka or Ceylon as it was once known is an Island off the southern tip of India in the Indian Ocean .It is a ten & three quarter hour journey if flying direct. There are sometimes stopovers in the Maldives which is a wonderful place ...
