and winds through several scenic villages before ending in New Brunswick, draws scores of cyclists, runners, and families in good weather. A series of plaques along the towpath chronicles the building of the canal in the 19th century, primarily by Irish immigrants. Advantages: Great looks, decent volume Disadvantages: Volume control, clean tone controls
I bought a Princeton 112+ for £200 about 2 years ago, so the main point on the plus side for this amp is the value. Although its pretty small, this amp is a very loud 65W, and is perfectly loud enough for even large pub/club gigs.

The contour control - similar to that on most Marshall Valvestates - works by shifting the range of the middle frequencies, so it does a bit more than a simple middle pot. Basically, turn it one way and the distortion sounds kinda bluesy, turn it the other way and you've got scooped thrash metal.
I think the distortion is a bit crap, but you can get it to sound good with a lot of EQ tweaking - so it won ...
Advantages: Beautiful, clean hospitable hotel, bargain price Disadvantages: Cant think of any
I stayed here for 5 days in late November 2008. I would definately recommend. Doubletree is a Hilton hotel and you get what you expect from that brand here. There was a shuttle service from St Louis Airport, which was free, the car park was also free and they bake delicious fresh cookies behind the front desk, which they hand out liberally, also FREE. There was a nice bar with widescreen tv and very comfortable sofas and chairs. The was also a restaurant although I didnt use it.
I booked through the American Airlines website ( AAdvantage members) and got the luxury room for $80 a night, which was around £45 based on the exchange rate when I booked which is outstanding for the hotel of this calibre. I was there over Thanksgiving ...
