We were fast tracked through the queue which was already quite big at 10am. (I would arrive early as the car park gets filled quickly!) Parking is £5. The exhibition itself was very good. You would really need to be a fan to get your moneysworth. Really, you could do it in 20 minutes, but if you walk around a few times and read all the info and watch the videos, you could probably spend an hour or more. There was quite a few excellent exhibits, most from series 1 and 2. These included a cybermen room (with interactive buttons), a moving dalek and a dalek that you could go inside and it made you talk like a dalek! (kids loved this) There was a big Rachnos empress, a clockwork droid, a few outfits from the series, K9, a Slitheen, Auton, Oods, and a few more. There were also some models used in filming including a big ben clock.
Part of the fun is taking photos of yourself with the exhibits. I found that the kids really enjoyed it as did me and my hubby. At the end of the exhibition you end up in a (very expensive) shop. They did though sell a few cheaper items such as badges.
You end up back in the museum where you can easily spend a couple of hours, and it is totally free. It has a cafe and a shop with lots of cheap items for kids pocket money. We really enjoyed our day out here and I would highly recommend it for a day out or party alternative.
