Disadvantages: very alternative
AZ Conny (AZ = Alternatives Zentrum = alternative social-point) is the place to be for a cheap, non-stylish night in party-district Neustadt.
There are different types of parties around the week. I preferred to go there THURSDAYs, because there is no entry fee, you can get in for free. Its INDIE-DANCE, which means Indy (smile), Big Beat, a taste of good hip-hop, Mister Bob Marley, Punk and all the other music for jumping, poking and getting crazy ...
...flyers in the pubs.
AZ Conny is situated in the alternative district Neustadt in the street Rudolf-Leonhard-Strasse 36. You can find it here on the city map:

You can go there by bus or tram, but I cannot advice you one, cause they are changing the routes frequently (I think the city council is trying to get the people confused for some reasons.)
