Remy Martin VSOP Champagne Cognac at £8 per litre or Glenmorangie single malt for the same price; Benson and Hedges, Rothmans, etc at around £10 a carton, unbelievable as this may sound, they are the prices I paid on my last visit to Dubai airport. If you fly to or from the far east by Emirates airline you will almost certainly make a stop at Dubai, and transit passengers are always allowed off the plane. The atmosphere on the tarmac is stifling in the summer, even in the middle of the night, with temperatures of around 40 degrees C, but when you get into the airport buildings it is light and airy and superbly cool. Don’t dally in the transit lounge, get on up to those duty free shops where you’ll find perfume, spirits, cigarettes, and absolutely tons of gold awaiting at truly amazing prices. Abu Dhabi, also in the UAE, is probably the only place in the world to match these prices and, as I understand it, you can buy the goods on arrival subject to certain religious constraints.

It's everything I know about the airport. It is paragraphed - there's only one paragraph's worth there. I was paid 3p for writing it and you paid nothing to read it. What do you want, War and Peace?

There's not a lot of info on the airport itself. Plus, if you paragraph your work, it will be easier to read. Regards. Louise.
