Gold Souk Deira.

Advantages: Selection is great, prices- the cheapest or one of the cheapest in the World.
Disadvantages: Too many small shops and traipsing through all of them can be tiresome.

Ski Dubai - snow in the desert

Advantages: Good family day, good photo opps and a chance to strap on some skis
Disadvantages: costly if a large group

A Fun filled water adventure!

Advantages: Great fun!! Superb rides!
Disadvantages: None.

Wild Wadi is a water park in Dubai that features some brilliant rides and slides that you can go on all day long! There's the big ride that is great if you're a real thrill-seeker as it makes you feels as if you are flying down this slide, but be warned, you may get cut or bruised from riding on this one as it can be fairly violent. Review of Wild Wadi Water Park, Dubai

An experience of a Lifetime

Advantages: A thrilling ride on the desert dunes--unsurpassable for enjoyment.
Disadvantages: the seatbelts in the vehicles may have undergone a bit of wear and tear.

This has indeed been an experience of a lifetime. At around 3pm we set out with our very friendly Arab Driver in a 4X4. He wore the traditional Arab attire and used no footwear( which we later realised is more comfortable than trainers in the Arab desert). We were a group of six passengers in the 4X4. There was a drive of about half an hour until we reached the desert proper. There is a kind of resting station where all the drivers taking tourists ...
...station' comprises of 3-4 shops where you can buy cool drinks, tender coconut water(which I must say is the most refreshing drink in the desert heat), icecreams, water, and various momentos.
