DUBAI SMALL BEAUTIFULL PARADISE.

Advantages: BEAUTIFULL FOR HOLLIDAY IN WINTER,VERY CHEAP FOR SHOPPING AND FOOD.
Disadvantages: IS VERY HOT AFTER MARCH.

i lived in dubai for three years 1997-2000 and i should say i went early this year and i should say they build it up like america and this island is excellent for holliday and nightlife there is too many market for shopping and too many bar and resturent and hotel which i recomend you to go there in winter or spring because they have hot summer which there is air condition everywhere but i think if you have plan to go in winter or spring is more ... Advantages: Clean living with great opportunitys for a childs school life.
Disadvantages: Detached society under a muslim bureaucracy.

...Anyone who knows dubai will have seen the architechtural splendor that is the Burj al arab, that ten years ago wasn't even existent, and shiek zayid road! In 1994 sheik zayid road was home to just 7 apartment towers, now it is the main nerve of dubai with over 150 aparment towers along with more than a thousand shops built in. My father now lives on a compound near the media city named desert spring village, a reassuring, friendly community that ...
...resided in the dunes of dubai since the mid 1970's, which is very old in dubai. Unfortunatly the compounds owner having recently passed away, the mans son has immediately sold the land into demolition in a typical act of profiteering. DUBAI PARADISE ON EARTH

Advantages: Great weather, clean beaches, great food, tax free port
Disadvantages: it can become extremly hot in the afternoons from april to september

...I'm back from Dubai from my trip from last winter, and I'm actually surprised to see so much information on this city ! I thought I'd be innovative in going there but when I got there, I relaised it was pretty famous .. and I understand why. From what other say (http://www.still-searching.com/hotelsindubai.html) the city and accomodation are just incredible ... I didn't have the budget for the Burj Al Arab Hotel ... but the Fairmont did the trick! ...
...that Dubai offers the visitor a blend of modern city and timeless desert, east and west, old and new. Why I went: exotic destination with a cosmopolitan lifestyle, comfort and convenience of the Western world with the unique charm and hospitality of Arabia!
