Resort & Spa exudes individuality and the ambience of a private club. From the outset, guests will be entranced with the private sandy beach and beautifully landscaped gardens in a peaceful and romantic setting. The Resort was one of the first in Dubai and it now prides itself in having developed a fully-fledged 5-star complex, whilst maintaining an intimate atmosphere. The property is also one of the best-located beach hotels in Dubai.
Its great location sets this hotel apart from others. On its own private beach at the beginning of the Jumeirah Beach Rd means that this hotel is just a 10-15 minute drive to the city. The hotel consists of a number of low risebuildings nestled in beautifully landscaped gardens complete with meandering streams and waterfalls - this does mean that no rooms will have a seaview. The hotel also boasts a luxurious Spa, award winning restaurants, 2 large swimmingpools, tennis and squash courts and a fully equipped gymnasium. Rooms are spacious with nice views of the gardens.
Advantages: first ski slopes in Dubai, one of a kind, lots to do, family fun Disadvantages: a sore bum from falling down so much!
...The Ski Dubai attraction in Dubai is another one of the Sheikhs attempts to get Dubai on the map as being one of the top tourist areas in the world. This idea was really a case of turning the impossible into possible. As Dubai has all year round sun, beaches etc snow was to be out of the question, although I do remember a few years ago some snow flakes did fall in Dubai. A ski slope in Dubai is unbeleivable but yet a reality. It makes Dubai a place that has everything to offer. The dubai ski dome will also ultimately come in Dubais favour for when they will make a bid for the Olympics because no one can now object that due to dubais climate there is no snow there!
LOCATION
It opened in 2005 and is located on the most used and known road in Dubai, The Sheikh Zayed Road. The ski slope is in the Emirates Mall, another well known place...

Advantages: Fantastic relaxing romantic hotel Disadvantages: Bit pricey
...This is a wonderful 5 star hotel. Set on the gorgeous Jumeriah Beach. The rooms are second to none. Staff are very dedicated and nothing is to much! The most popular restaurant is the buffet restaurant. Breakfasts are feast fit for a king! From fresh fruit, pastries, egg chef, cooked breakfast, cereals and continental breakfasts to. They also do evening themed buffets which are great entertainment specially the Arabic evening. There is also a beautiful spa in a Roman theme, ideal for relaxing after a hectic day or to get ready for a night out! The hotel also offers a free shuttle bus to different locations but be warned seats are first come first served and it gets full quick!
Also unlike some hotels, the room cleaing is superb! Also you get free morning paper oh and the pool bar offers the best cocktails!...

DUBAI Review ofDubai (United Arab Emirates)by
deedler
Advantages: fantastic service/weather Disadvantages: building work!
...I first visited Dubai in April 02 not knowing quite what to expect.Fortunately I went on a trip through work and had to review and inspect certain hotels.
Very little sets the hotels apart as they are all from an incredible standard.Though I have to say Le Meridien Royal BeachSpa is now my firm favourite. The service is amazing, although I experienced that in all hotels.
Dubai as a city is great. The people are very friendly and courteous and so long as you respect that it is a muslim culture you will not feel uncomfortable going throught he souks etc...
It is absolutely essentail to go on a jeep safari into the desert .Arabian adventures do a great night one.
I have returned to Dubai 4 times now and my only gripe is that there is so much building work going on due to 'the palm' and the increased popularity of the place.I hope it does...

A lot can happen in a space of a few years but never more so than in Dubai; it's currently a massive construction site but in the nicest sort of way! The last time I visited Dubai in 2002, I stayed at Oasis Beach Hotel in Jumeirah. At that time the... more
The Burj-Al-Arab (Arabian Tower) is Dubai and the UAE's answer to the landmark symbols of other countries, they compare it to the Eiffel tower (it's slightly taller by virtue of its mast) and other icons.
