This will be the last of my reviews on Dublin as I am sure you are all sick of hearing about my visit. Anyway, while in Dublin yes it's nice to see older historical buildings but sometimes it is nice for a different type of attraction. In my hotel there was a leaflet on Dublin Sightseeing Tours, ... Scary but Funny

Advantages: interesting, great atmosphere
Disadvantages: costly

...last of my reviews on Dublin as I am sure you are all sick of hearing about my visit. Anyway, while in Dublin yes it's nice to see older historical buildings but sometimes it is nice for a different type of attraction. In my hotel there was a leaflet on Dublin Sightseeing Tours, now, I am not really one for sitting on an open top bus while being driven about town but as I turned the page the bright yellow text reading Dublin Ghost Bus Tour caught ...
...it had been taken at Dublin Castle on her digital camera. I noticed at the Castle I had many orbs in my camera for those of you who do not know what that means basically it is a ball of spiritual energy.

The tour lasts 2 hours and you are taken back to O'Connell Street by 10pm. This went really quick I felt, the longest stop being at the Graveyard. I did learn a lot about Dublin's Ghost history as well as having a laugh and on the ... more

Haunted Dublin Walking Tour

Advantages: hilariously funny
Disadvantages: very costly - for a less expensive ghost tour see www.hiddendublinwalks.com

I did the Haunted Dublin walking tour with hidden dublin walks last week. It was highly enjoyable, I had previously done the Ghost bus which was really funny but not very scary and as I hadn't had my fill of scary I decided to go and do this tour which was much cheaper than the ghost bus and was fantastic!! I learnt a lot about Ireland's culture of the otherworld at the same time as being scared silly along the path. I recommend both tours but the ...

City of Green

Advantages: Lots to do, lots of culture.
Disadvantages: None

, clothes and music stores and cultural centres and craft shops. It is known as the “buzz” area of Dublin full of browsers and buskers. I made it my mission to take a replica photo of the Pearl Jam ‘Yield’ album cover using Ireland’s Yield roadsigns, seeing as we only have the ‘Give Way’ signs in Britain. Other differences include the amount of green used everywhere for letterboxes, buses, buildings, you name it. Dublin has plenty of attractions to entice all age ranges for a visit whether it be any of the bus tours (the Dublin GhostBus Tour is another) or historical and cultural sites. ...

See Dublin In A Day For Under A Tenner

Advantages: Great way to see the city if you're short of time
Disadvantages: Not a lot

not that expensive either, at a cost of only £8 (Irish Punts) for an adult, and half price for children up to 14 years of age. As well as the main Dublin Tour, Dublin Bus also runs other bus tours both in the city and about Ireland. There is a very popular “Ghost Bus Tour”, that takes you to all the “spooky” locations in the city, and various other day long tours that take you out of the city to places like “Ballykissangel” and the resorts on the south coast. (ops to follow) ~ ~ So if you do happen to visit Dublin on a tight schedule, then keep this tour in mind. It’s exceptional value, and allows you to get a flavour of the Irish capital in a very short space of time. Recommended by the “mad cabbie”. ...

Great place for a grown-up hen night and more!

Advantages: Lovely city, plenty to see and do
Disadvantages: Can be pricey, especially for drinks.

hangovers the next day! It's worth having a look on the net before you go and finding what there is on offer around where you're staying, especially if you are going out for a special celebration while you're there. **THINGS TO DO** What can I say, so much choice that you will struggle to fit everyting in, and there's something for everyone. Again you can find lots of info on the likes of www.visitdublin.com, along with some special offers to save you a few pennies when you get there. There are a wealth of museums and attractions with something for everyone. We tried: - Dublin Bus Tours A variety of tours are available, including city tour and Ballykissangel country, we went for the evening "Ghost Bus" tour, 22 euros each and very entertaining. The tour lasts just over 2 hours and takes you around the city with tales of legendary ...
