The Guinness tour is excellent, with the industrial process counterbalanced by a good marketing exhibition, a well stocked shop and of course a pint of Guinness at the end. If you don't like Guinness (how can you not like Guinness ?) there are other options including soft drinks. There is plenty of space, as this is a major tourist attraction hereabouts. The brewery is a little way out of the centre of town, but walkable from OConnell street. The entrance is down a backstreet but well signposted, or you can just look for the coaches. The staff are helpfull and informative, and tours come in a variety of languages.
