I have been to Dublin twice in the past 6 years, on both ocassions I was only there for 4 short hours as I awaited my ferry back to England after fishing trips. Both visits were really to kill time but in the short time I was there I fell in love with the city and must return.

I managed to explore a different part of this wonderful city each time and my lasting thought is that I really must make the time to go back to Ireland for a non fishing holiday and explore the city properly.

I found the city to be very laid back, it was certainly busy, a lot of hustle and bustle but no one seemed in a hurry, there was no urgency about people. Those who I met were friendly and helpful. Shopping there was a dream, I spent a couple of hours perusing the various stores.

I found the layout and atmosphere to be akin with Frankfurt in Germany with it's riverside cafes and bars, a very similar atmosphere.

To be able to say I fell in love with the city after such a short time there must reflect on the true magic, charm and appeal of this ancient place. I loved it.
