Advantages: Good, reliable, warm and cosy Disadvantages: Can get very busy on w-e
...being a regular in La Mere Zou I feel almost like part of the family!
The food is simple, fresh fish and good quality meats, definitely French classical altough lately there has been some changes to modernise the presentation of food. recently redecorate they have kept the French ambiance that have made the success of La Mere Zou for more than ten years. The pan fried black sole is to die for, steamed mussels and chips are a winner but also one part of the a la carte menu is adventurous and will please the most demanding customers. Live jazz music every Friday's and Saturdays will make your evening even more romantic, keeping the week days for business dinners. Fantastic value for the 4 course Early Bird menu at 24.50 Euro from 6 to 7 pm.
Never disappointed....

They give a nice overview of the city and go to my favourite place in Dublin, The Guiness Hopstore. Inside you will find all the original artwork for the world famous zoo animals used in Guiness advertising. If you...

One day we were going to have a picnic at a sea side Village. My Grandmother told me that her Family always went there for a Month in the Summer. She said it was so far from Dublin the Men only could come on the week end. They took the train after work and had to leave very early to make it back to work), on Monday morning. We rented a car and drove out of Dublin and in ten minutes we were there!
The Town was called Liffey and it turned that is wasn't on the Ocean but on the Liffey Rivers. We spend the rest of the morning sitting on the banks of the river and ate lunch and drove back to Dublin.
