The Zoo is set in 30 acres of grounds in Phoenix Park with over 700 animals and tropical birds. It is Dublins most popular attraction. It was founded in in 1830 it is the fourth oldest scientific zoo in the world, after Tiergarten Schönbrunn in Vienna, London Zoo, and the Jardin des Plantes in Paris I Visited the New World of Primates and saw the monkey islands. Polar bears, snowy owls and arctic foxes. I also took a train ride around the Zoo which i found fun and amazing. The is for all people of all ages and children will love it. Also the Zoo is educational for children. The zoo is massive and takes a good four hours to walk around. Each wild animal enjoys most spacious accomodation with great viewing panels in every cage and enclosure.
