Advantages: Great hotels, and facilities
Disadvantages: EXPENSIVE!!!

After another argument with the little lady I was feeling stressed and in need of some TLC. "Right that?s it" I shouted, "We are going away for a night". To which she replied "where?? She had a point, i am only 21, I can?t drive and i am not rich in any way shape or form. Despite this I really needed a break from reality. The Christmas bonus had just been deposited into my bank account so I thought of the closest 4 star I could think of. "We are going to that big hotel on the Wroxham Road" said I not knowing the name at the time. So off we went, as we pulled down the seemingly endless drive from the main road I thought gosh this looks different to any hotel I had ever stayed in (i am more used to forte pothouses or similar!!). Review of Sprowston Manor Marriott Hotel and Country Club, Norwich

Kununurra Country Club Resort, Western Australia

Advantages: Room cleanliness excellent, facilities and dining quite acceptable.
Disadvantages: Had a battle with the doors in my room

This review covers my stay of two nights at Kununurra Country Club Resort, which is located near Lake Argylle in North West Australia. I stayed here during a coach tour of the Kimberleys, so I didn't book direct with the resort. It is set in green, well-tended grounds, with lots of palm trees. There is good security with high fences around the resort, but even so, management advises guests to keep doors locked to discourage petty theft. Reception area When I arrived at the reception area, porters took my suitcase to my allocated room. Regarding the reception area, the check-in staff seemed friendly and helpful. There was an internet kiosk here (coin-operated). , One point I liked about the foyer was the crocodile design which had been set into the stone-flagged floor. Review of Best Western Country Club Hotel, Kununurra

Marymoose relaxes, with three reviews in one!

Advantages: Nice room, mainly good food, fantastic massage!!!
Disadvantages: Very poor service and organisation overall, particularly in Purdeys, really let down the experienc

A month or so ago I decided that hubby and I needed some serious rest and relaxation, so I browsed the Internet to see if anything took my fancy. I came across a Spa deal at the Langdale Hotel and Country Club near Ambleside (39 miles from us), and thought that this sounded like just the thing I was after. The website I have to say is excellent, and if you do decide ever to visit then certainly check it out, there are photos (although saying that they can make it look a bit better than it is!) of everything ? rooms, spa, restaurant. Plus it is regularly updated. Having consulted with hubby (he wasn?t particularly keen I have to say) and informing him that it was great value at just £250 for the both of us, he begrudgingly agreed to it.
