Dynastic Park Hotel, Benidorm

I have just returned from a long weekend break with my wife and two daughters (aged 8 and 15). I have mixed feelings about this hotel and Benidorm in general. If you want a slice of Blackpool slapped on the coast of Spain then Benidorm is still very much the resort for you. A 'best' English breakfast is available on every corner with a thousand tacky souvenirs to choose from. There is little to please the eye on offer when the scenery is very much a concrete jungle. It would appear that Ciao had this hotel on their database before it was completely rebuilt and enlarged. It is now a four star hotel with 206 guest rooms. Two years ago I needed a holiday in a hurry - my husband had just died and I had been through a terrible time but my finances were quite tight so I was in need of something reasonable, and if possible, all-inclusive. I managed to book a week in Benidorm with Thomas Cook for myself, my sister and my daughter and we stayed at the Dynastic Hotel. The total cost for the holiday was £800, flying from Glasgow.
