Eastrop Park is situated just outside Basingstoke town centre, qutie close to the fountains. There is a pedestiranised walk from the town centre to the park making it safe for kids and pets alike. The road leading to it is generally quiet with spped retrictions in place. The is three expanses of water in Eastrop Park, A kiddies pool, popular in the summer, very shallow, and cleaned regullary allowing younger kids to play and cool down in the summer.
