Advantages: Sheer heaven! The place to go and relax! Disadvantages: Shared facilities can create a lack of privacy
I truly adore this place and, in four visits, I have worked my way up the ladder towards true, utter bliss.

Tankersley manor
On a recent conference, I travelled to Barnsley and stayed in the four star Tankersley Manor Hotel, which is one of the Marston Group of hotels
**Getting there**
The hotel is situated between Sheffield and Barnsley
From North and South-follow the M1
From East-take the M18 then join M1 North towards Sheffield/Leeds
From West-take M62. Leave at Junction 29, which becomes Junction 42 of the M1
Exit the M1 at Junction 36 and follow the signs for A61 Sheffield. After half a mile, turn left onto Church Lane and Tankersley Manor is on the right.
If travelling by train, it is about 3 / 4 miles from Barnsley train station and costs about £9.
**ENTRANCE**
When we drove in through the large gates, what struck me initially was the number of car parking spaces. This is definitely one place which has set ...

The Good Points
The Town Center
The town center is good place to generally hang out as it is rather a large place with a good selection of shops including Blockbuster and Electroniques Boutique (my favs) It also hosts a place which is sheltered called " Community Square " with shops inside there - pretty cool.
The Mcarthur Glenn place
Iv only been once and I can honestly say it really didnt appeal to me - far too many fshion shops for my liking - nice big structure though and a place to hang out and meet people I suppose... although ...
