Arranged a car hire from Paris airport, easycar subcontracting to France Alamo. Wanted a convertible, available on special order. Ordered four months before the beginning of the contract, all OK.
When we arrived at Paris CDG, no convertible available. Offered small car stinking of smoke, no other car available. Alamo said they would cancel the contract, and arrange refund, gave us some incident forms to present to easycar.
BUT getting home after holiday can get no response from easycar. email through website goes unanswered, no telephone option available outside UK. Web FAQ says 'sorry we do not give refunds". So that's it- easy car will take your money, leave you without the car, and then tell you sorry 'no refunds'.
easycar- buyer beware- poor customer care means cheap but not cheerful

the same happened to me but after paying in full i never even got a car as i wasnt on the list, another lady in queue in front of me had the same, they wont accept discussion over premium line phone number and insist i put it all in writing before they consider a refund!!

This no refund policy seems to be faily common with the easy group.
