I have flown easyJet quite frequently. I do so because they are cheap and I like the no frills aspect. Can't stand airplane food anyway and for a short flight who needs it. I am just getting bored by Stelios constantly moaning about the big boys - BA/KLM/GO and even Barclays now.
Recently i was stuck on an easyJet plane in Athens during the heatwave - we were on the ground for a good half an hour - even longer - without air conditioning. You can imagine how hot it was - the pilot apologised but it was unbearable. I was reading the easyJet magazine to take my mind off of the problem and my fellow passengers long sighs - in the mag there were at least 4 full page advertisements slagging off the competition - the big boys - poor little easyJet! I don't think so - we didn't even get given water while we were sweating on the ground!
On a recent flight with GO we did receive complimentary drinks during a delay.
I think easyJet have got their product spot on - well almost except for the dehydrated passengers but stop moaning about the competition and get on with looking after your customers better.
Its not the first time a flight has been delayed and they should be better prepared.
