It's the same old thing, you only get what you pay for! I use Easyjet to fly from Belfast to Luton, this usually costs me less than £50 return. For that money I get a reliable flight departure ( not delayed once, YET) and an adequate check-in system. OK, it is a fighting match if the flight is full to get the seat you want, but they do release the passengers to the plane in numerical order according to when they check-in. No food supplied? OK there's not, but on a flight that lasts no more than 1 hour, who needs food, have a sandwich before you leave the house!. If I wanted a cooked breakfast with coffee and a free newspaper, I could always pay at least £40 extra and travel with British Midland to Heathrow. Easyjets aircraft are just as modern as any other fleet and we should be applauding them for taking on the big boys and suppling the travelling public with a low cost good value alternative to their overpriced competitors.
