I am full of praise for Easyjet, having flown with them on a number of occasions.
On my 2 trips to Amsterdam from Liverpool & Luton and my trips from Luton to Madrid, I have never experienced a problem at all.
A couple of things may suprise you, as they did me and this is what sets them way apart from Ryanair & other airlines:-
They have one of the most modern fleets of planes in the world. Our Stelios is investing for the future in his fleet. Whilst I am not slagging off or comparing too much, Ryanairs fleet is old and drab. Also (last ryanair comparison) they only fly (in my experience) to the city's main airports, ryanair advertise flying to some cities, where the airport is 50miles+ from it (i.e. franfurt - hahn, and hamburg - lubeck)
The inflight refreshements, which you'd expect to be quite expensive are about the same price as what you'd pay in the airport, if not less! The selection isn't great, but hey, you're only on the flight for 2 hours, surely you can survive that long without food / drink??!!
The service is fine, if you pay peanuts, which you usually do, then you're not going to get a high level of personal service, so if you MUST have your whisky & ginger and stale ham sandwich, go fly with BA or KLM and pay £200+ more, the choice is yours.
The modern planes are v.comfortable and some of the routes are flown 3-4 times a day. Easyjet has a number of main locations in the UK, being Luton, Liverpool, Aberdeen, Belfast, Gatwick & Glasgow, though I think most flights go from Luton & Liverpool. It would be nice to have flights going from somewhere in Yorkshire or the North East & the south east & wales has been overlooked. Some of the main destinations include Athens, Amsterdam, Barcalona, Madrid & Zurich though others are available. A full list is on the Easyjet website, www.easyjet.com
If you book online, you save a fiver and also if you book more than a week in advance, the fare tends to be cheaper, although the earlier you book, the better.
Overall it's worth checking to see if Easyjet fly your route before booking with anyone else, otherwise you're throwing money away. Good stuff! :D :D :D :D :D

Nice to hear positive things about them - we are flying with them next year having been fortunate enough to get free flights in the Express/Easyjet promotion.
