OH dear god, where to begin on this one? At the time this review is relevant to, I was dating a rather nice dutch lass, a teacher no less, and was going out to see her - and mind you, this is the ONLY time i've ever flown easyjet. You'll see why.
Arriving at Luton airport (most depressing place in the whole wide world!) was an experience in itself - you have to be able to think in twelve dimensions to work out what car park to put yourself in. Strike one, because as far as i'm aware, Easyjet OWNS luton airport.
Unfortunately, I'd arrived an hour earlier than intended - my driver had reckoned on there being traffic due to one of the depressed vauxhall workers jumping off a building somewhere - no entertainment today. So, we hunted for something to do. And quickly realised to our horror, the height of fun at this place was the burger king. Oh joy, oh joy.
Eventually, we were told that checkin would NOT be opening, as they'd cancelled the flight. No reason given for this, just "the flight has been cancelled". But Lo! I can get onto the next flight! AND they'll refund my flights both ways. And give me a burger king voucher. Goody goody, thought I. Until i discovered nothing was going near Schiphol for another three hours. When I pointed out that this was going to cost me another fifteen pounds in parking, I got a polite "tough titties". Strike two, right there.
The FINAL straw for me, and the reason I'm never giving stelios my money again, was that when FINALLY I'd calmed the missus down and gotten through the ordeal of checkin, there was a steward standing there asking who wouldn't mind skipping the flight for a hundred quid. Because they'd sold too many seats. STRIKE THREE!!!!
Eventually, we did take off, and that was a terrifying experience - we had nothing from the captain, the cabin crew were like zombies and didn't speak english, so their strange raindance wasn't really explained to the vast majority of passengers.
Flying, tolerably good, though nowhere near enough legroom for my six foot frame.
Landing... I have to admit, for the first time in my life, I prayed. The plane hit the runway with an almighty thud, and at first I thought we'd crashed. No, fortunately, we hadn't. The pilot had just hamfisted us onto the runway.
In all honesty, I couldn't get off that plane fast enough, and didn't want to get on the one back - which was just as bad.

Overall, Easyjet get a 1/10 - and thats only because I'm not cruel enoguh to give them a 0
