Comfy rather than prickly, but not perfect.

Advantages: Clean, nice, good location
Disadvantages: Breakfast wasn't great, heating nearly cracked my face

...Thistle is part of the King James Mall complex. This is at one end of Princes Street, the main road in the "New Town" of Edinburgh. It is very close to Waverley station and was very easy to find, although we had to ask a French guy running a stall outside the Mall where the entrance was. How George let me down

Advantages: Position Position Position
Disadvantages: rooms are shabby

Herald - Not So Good

Advantages: Close to station and local amenities
Disadvantages: More like student accommodation

A hidden treasure
