Advantages: very helpful staff Disadvantages: 20 minutes to downtown
...YEG is located south-west of the city of Edmonton, approx. 20 minutes form the downtown core. Arrivals are on the second floor, and luggage pick up is on the main floor(arriving from Toronto). Pay telephones are near the luggage pick up. Staff were very attentive to my needs. There are several levels of parking less than 50 feet away. An international airport, flights can connect to nearly any major port worldwide. Signs are clearly marked, it is quite difficult to get lost. The taxi fares are decent, perhaps $30 canadian, but shuttles are also available at lower cost. Because I was in quite the hurry, I did not have the time to search for restaurants or cafes in the airport. If you find this at all helpful, please feel free to let me know. Thank you....

Advantages: relaxed and friendly Disadvantages: None

For those brits abroiad, the town also has a few British pubs, some of them themed, some not. Well, you travel thousands of miles and get British beer!
South of the river, there is a more traditional shopping area, which is quite funky and also has lots of places to eat!
Don't believe what the guide books...

Its been a long antagonising wait for the release of season 5 in the UK and as a life long South Park addict, theres a good chance I may be a little biased on this one. After watching this series it is clear that the creators(Matt Stone and Trey Parker)... more
