Eating out in a large party is often a very difficult thing to arrange. Not only do you have to cater for a wide range of tastes, you also tend to have to pre-order the food with the restaurant and then keep a note of who is supposed to be having what. I had the daunting prospect of trying to arrange a meal for just under 20 people, as a way of thanking them all for the hard work they had put into a project that I am currently managing. Rather than ... ...like to go, I therefore decided to go for a slightly easier option and decided upon a buffet style meal. Bored with Chinese, and not being a great fan of Indian food, I finally settled on something a little bit different – and booked us into Efe’s Turkish Tavern in Manchester.

Advantages: Lively, Friendly, Great Service, Good Food, Moderately priced Disadvantages: Hard to get a table at the last minute
A group of friends and I went to Manchester for a girls weekend & I must say it got off to a pretty amazing start thanks to our exeprience at Efes. We had previously heard that this was a good, lively venue with a bit of a party atmosphere aand this sounded just our cup of tea!! Unfortunately none of us actually booked a table which could have been a major disaster if it wasn't for the fabulous host who managed to squeeze us in even thou it was completely ... ...a table to the rear of the restaurant and although it wasn't a prime location it wasn't a bad enough one for us to be concerned.
With regards to the food I can genuinely say it was beautiful - we all ate from the set menu and this was very competively priced at just under £15 per head - the only real bug bear with the food was my starter which was meatballs and in truth the portion could have been more generous.

I stayed at the Tulip Inn (Trafford Centre) early in August as the Arctic Monkeys were playing at Lancashire Cricket Ground.
When we arrived the car park was quite full but had plenty of spaces, even though the hotel very obviously very busy.
