    Eger is architecturally a very interesting town. It lies 128 kilometres from Budapest and is also famous for being the home of Bull's Blood wine. The town is bursting with baroque architecture and has more listed buildings than any other towns in Hungary, even more than Budapest and Sopron. For a start, Eger is home to the country's second largest church; you really can't miss the cream coloured twin towers and dome rising from within the town centre.
