STORY BASICS
Don is an international gangster, respected yet feared by his own people and hated by the police who are determined to track him down. Unfortunately Don is killed in a police encounter which leaves one of the most senior police officers on his tail somewhat stumped as he wants to bring down the rest of the gang and their associates too. He knows a likeable but very common street performer called Vijay who is the spitting image of Don and he persuades him to go into training to be replaced into the gang as Don. This takes a lot of hard work but eventually Vijay is sent back into Don?s gang as Don.

The Anniversary: Manuel makes a paella, Polly needs a night off and the chef seems to think he practically runs the place, a great episode, mainly focused on the fact that Basil is in a better mood then average and has seemingly forgotten their anniversary. Sybil angered to insane degrees heads off to the golf course for the day. He has in effect chosen to forget their anniversary togetrid of Sybil for the day lol. Classic 9/10
Basil the Rat: Last episode of Fawlty Towers ever, so sad! Basil finds Manuels rat in the Hotel but Manuel defends it, insisting his pet is a Siberian Hamster. Manuel promises to keep the hamster in his cage and gains the support of the staff to try and convince Basil. And as usual there is the bickering between Sybil and Basil that made the show such a hit, with catch phrases such as "Drive ...

It's been a while since I wrote a review and I had said to myself that I would wait until after my holiday to put fingers to keyboard once again. After sunning ourselves for 2 weeks in Magaluf, Majorca it's taken me a while to get back into the swing of everyday life in Blighty but I think I'm almost there (worst luck).

The Don Juan Hotel is part of the Hoteles Saint Michel group and is a 3 star hotel situated in the quieter area of Magaluf. It was built in 1972 and extensively renovated during the winter of 1999 and has 182 rooms in total (161 twins and 21 single) which stretch over seven floors.
