EgyptAir - MSR

Our flight - Gatwick - Cairo and back again.

FLIGHT OUT
The flight out has only praises to be made. The flight was on time, the staff pleasant and film mediocre.

Initially I got in a bit of tiz in the flight, I had worked out the wrong time of arrival and thought we were running late. But the flight was 5 hours (I think) instead of the 3 I thought it was to be.

Nevertheless, the movie Spiderman, was adequate, the staff polite and patient and the food was delicious. It was a lamb curry of descriptions, Egyptian food I believe, but it was very tasty.

The flight arrived at Cairo and there was no problems getting off the flight. I will add that you should be careful when paying Visas, as we were ripped off very smiftly after getting off the plane.

But that was that.

FLIGHT IN

The flight back to the UK was quite the opposite.

The flight was delayed... grrrr

The staff seemed hot and bothered...

The food (chicken BEWARE!) was dry and inedible really.

The film was of no note.

OVERALL

So it is hard to say with EgyptAir. They seemed to virtually hit the nail on the head on the way out. But fell flat on their face when they came back.

For the price we paid for the flight though, it definately felt value for money. Now looking back as well, the problems on the return flight don't seem as bad as they were at the time, so not putting a dampner on the holiday.
