When i decided to go to Egpt i wanted to stay away from the main tourist route but still wanted it to feel like a holiday, so i decided on Hurghada. I rented a private apartment through the internet and got my own flights, i was surprised how cheap is was to get there and i was happy with the prices i usually pay around the same to go to spain, so i stayed on a private complex named El Gouna. ...pool and everything was to hand, i stayed for 2 weeks there and everything i needed was on the private complex these was holiday homes that people rented out some people even lived there, the beach was there a marina lots of lovely places to eat and even a free bus that picked you up and dropped you off! Eygpt is definatly one of my best destinations now and if you are looking to go check out El Gouna in Hurghada, they call it the red sea riviera ... Read review

Reef oasis beach hotel I have been home from The Reef for 3 weeks and my opinion of the place has not changed from the moment we set foot in the place. We arrived in the dark and the place looks magical with the low lighting and up lighters on the trees. We were shown to our room No.171 overlooking the relax pool and the room was very spacious and clean with what could only be a nine foot wide bed but as we had a child with us we had to phone reception ...
...but my son was happy enough with it , after all he was the free child place. The meals are of a very high standard and you have a varied choice but if you fill your plate with everything you will get a repetition so stick to one dish each day and you will be fine.The beer is good and the spirits are great, although the measures are large and you suddenly end up drunk. Ever looked at a postcard of a beach and thought id love to be there, well this is one of those beaches; clear, clean, beautiful blue water, and beautiful sand. And if privacy is your thing they well this is definitely for your thing, i am one to enjoy kicking back with a great novel and relaxing, and this was definitely what i got from Taba. Almost felt like i had my own strip of beach that i could walk up and down and meet the occasional friendly ...

It is not all great, the downsides to this resort; firstly its a resort so as you can imagine there is a lack of culture and native people, so if your going to do a little historical traveling then this is a pass.
