Dear Sirs I write to let you have our views on our recent stay at your hotel in Alexandria. It is with regret that I have to tell you that our sojourn with you was one of the worst hotel experiences we have had in Egypt. From our initial reception in the lobby to the point of departure we found your staff to be off hand and impolite, the state of the hotel itself to be shabby and run down. ...occasions when we got served far too slowly and in an inept manner. The lighting in your lobby of an evening was dreadful – the lights far too bright and the atmosphere not at all relaxing or sophisticated. The toilets came straight out into the lobby so that every time anyone made a visit or left the toilet area, whoever was sitting directly outside on the lounge would have the unfortunate experience of whatever unpleasant smells wafted out from ... If you want a nice peaceful holiday this is the place, but if your a fussy eater i wouldn't recommened it as the food selection is quite poor, its grilled vegatables, beef in different forms each day the same with chicken etc. The animation team are great, and Casper makes your holiday there. The rooms are great, very spacious and clean, you can also have a mini bar on request. There is a beach about 5-10 minutes away, its very clean, the sand ...
...and if you want dinner there they bring it over. They do quite a few trips, or you can do scuba diving near the beach and get your equipment too. There are 3 shops, one is a general shop selling shampoo to chocolate etc.. and the other 2 sell all the tourist stuff. ... Read review

We've just come back from a week at this hotel, and I must say it was very disappointing. The rooms were very basic, although they were well cleaned, and in good condition (we were staying in the second block at the back, which I think is relatively new, so it should have been in good condition really). We were half board, and for the first couple of days the food on offer was just about ok, but then we realised there was nothing new on offer, and ...
...only warm, and the best food on offer was the salads. There is also a restaurant, which costs extra to eat in. We went twice, and it was empty apart from us both times. Unfortunately the second time we went, within hours we were ill, and spent the last full day of our holiday in our room unable to move! Date of stay: feb 2008 so very upto date. Was slightly worried before going after reading all the bad review about this place but defintely should't have. Arived in the taba miltary airport very nice no many cues. Arived at hotel MASSIVE place stepped into huge marble recption at 8pm althoug winter still warm. One of the best things was the beach huge private beach with its very own coral reef snorkeling and diving the snorkeling was amazing with deeper reef (more fish) and shallower reef. Went to this fabulous hotel at the end of November.... What an experience !!!! Flight from London Gatwick took abou 4-5 hours, but it was enjoyable jurney with nice meal, snacks and movie. Booked it with Longwood Holidays. Can't fault them. Transfer from Taba airport to the hotel took about 45 mins. When we arrived there, oh my.... Everywhere so green, you would never thought that you are in the middle of the desert!!! 2 big swimming pools but designed in such way that it seems that there is at least 5 or 6 different pools. All sunbeds are wooden and you get fresh towel for your sunbed everyday (free of charge) with a mattress. We booked it as winter bonanza and paid £549 each for 2 weeks. Great value.
