...Bogota has imporved over the years, once a place of chaotic traffic, bad roads and a general sense of disorganisation, it has changed immesly for the better.
Transport - Buses and Taxis they are frequent and roughlty cost the same amount which ever you decide to take, For the buses you jump on where you want and then just let the driver know when you want to get off, there are no bus stops as such. there is also the new El Transmilenio - which is a giant bendy bus which gets around the city much faster.
Shopping - Bogota is a great place to shop, you can buy typical colombian things, you can buy jewerelly from tradiational colombian pendents with pre colombian figures, to emeralds and dimonds. For clothes shopping i recommend a place called San Anderisto - IT sells fashionable clothes, along with Toys, Jewerelly, Bed Linen ect ect...

Advantages: luxurious, inside town centre, myconian/aegean views, excelent service, friendly stuff Disadvantages: lots of rooms on the back with no views and too much traffic noise
...Although I've never stayed as a customer in Belvedere, I can easily give a review for this hotel as it's been lots of times that i visited friends who were staying there (and spent a couple of nights as a guest until I found a room for myself).
As you can see from my other reviews, for the past 14 years, i 've spent most of my holidays on mykonos island, I sometimes visit the island more than twice a year, so i think i can have a clear opinion about the most of its well known bussinesses.
Hotel Belvedere is a very well known bussiness in Mykonos. Most of the times you can meet celebrities staying there, as it offers stylish luxury and it is situated inside the town centre, in a small walking distance from the high standard bars clubs and restaurants.
It offers everything you could expect from a hotel in its category, minibar...
