Advantages: Looks lovely and decor great Disadvantages: poor food and service in restaurant
...About Movenpic hotels:
The Movenpic hotels are part of a multi national group of exclusive 5* hotels which began in Swizerland that state their aim as:
"Thirteen thousand people, over one hundred professions, and one shared goal: to pamper guests and to live authentic hospitality. Each and every day. "
The Movenpic Tangier:
From the outside this hotel is quite modern and looks very imposing . It is on the outskirts of Tangier right down the beachfront it is about 10 minutes drive from the main town so it is not really handy for getting to the town for awalk, you would need a taxi. However the setting offers lovely views of the coast, harbour and out to sea.I would think that the way the hotel is built that there would ot be many rooms without a good view.
Inside the hotel;
It is a very luxurious and expensive hotel...

Advantages: Great for cheap shopping, good fun, an introduction to Africa Disadvantages: Traders can "hassle", lots of begging
...which would have suited me well had the portions been a little more generous.
The hotel had a bar but since it was so quiet we took a cab back to the old town and did a bit more shopping. Once you get used to haggling, shopping in Tanger is tremendous fun. Having already been to Tunisia we had a little experience and we soon found ourselves getting into the swing of things. There is so much to buy - lovely leather shoes and sandals in colours to go with any outfit (so cheap you could buy a pair to match every outfit!), intricate jewellery, ceramics, leather goods - yes some of it is pretty grim but there are bargains to be had and little treasures to be found.
The street food smells delicious and the bakers premises open right out onto the narrow lanes so you can look inside and see the men removing the fresh bread from the ovens...

...This is a great 4 star hotel in the centre of interlaken, close to all public transport including the 2 rail stations. Rail and bus travel is cheap in Switzerland.
It is close to the centre of interlaken and has amazing views of the Jungfrau.
It has a great restaurant and bar in the hotel as well as lovely gardens.
This is a family friendly hotel with good disabled facilities.
The staff offer excellent customer service and they speak french, english and german so helpful to all visitors.
The hotel is central to tourist attractions in the area including the Jungfrau where you have to get a train too as well as the area where there is edelweiss flowers close by.
The town has excellent facilities eg swimming.
I would recommend this hotel and a visit to Interlaken....
