facades. In the past was home for Lussich, his wife and his seven daughters. Now is the home of the "Museo del Azulejo" (museum of tiles) with its very impressive and beautiful collection of ceramic tiles from every country of our world. Many tiles are dated 19th century and some others are from the French town of Desvres.
To complete our visit to Sierra de la Ballena we should reach "Laguna del Sauce" a wide lake on which shores are elegant villas and gardens that are belong to south American singers and sport stars.
The lake is a place for sailing, rowing, water skiing, as well as simply fishing.
Laguna del Sauce is linked with the Atlantic by the brook called "El Potremo" that reaches the ocean near the "Playa Chiguagua", the only beach where nudism is allowed.
PuntadelEste has the best beaches of the whole south America Atlantic ...

Advantages: Lovely beaches, lots of big expensive looking buildings, Disadvantages: Relatively expensive living, can get very crowded in summer

Overall we spent very little time going around, but what there was was very nice. Apparently lots of richy celebs stay at the Conrad, which is some big hotel/casino place. Very big, very nice to look at and very richy. We went in and looked around - bigger than any hotel ive ever been in (though I dont really look at many).
The other reviewers probably spent more time there, as tourists, in summer months - which is what PuntadelEste is really for. A place definately worth visiting, if you go to Uruguay. ...

Advantages: Amazing night life! Disadvantages: You won't be able to find one!
PuntadelEste means ?point east?. And this unknown place for europeans is a massive hit for all the famous and rich argentinian neighbours.
It's not more than two hours from Montevideo, Uruguay?s capital, and it's a well prepared resort for the thousands of visitors that receive every summer. Remember that summer in this side of the world is during December, January, February, March... but it doesn't means that it's dead during wintertime, every bank holiday, either in Uruguay or in Argentina, invites all their lovers for some more few days.
The best thing about PuntadelEste is that is that kind of place where you can go with family, friend, lover, grandparents, even pets, and they will all say that they are really enjoying themselves.
