LOCATION
the main reason to choose this hotel, is the location: in Costa Blanca, Alicante, there's a village called Jávea,between Cabo de la Nao and Cabo de San Antonio,protected from the north winds by a hill called "El Montgó". It lays In a coast full of nice coves ( we called them "calas") rocky and clear beaches , and orange trees with its azahar blossoms, that spreads their sweet smell during the flowering period.This specific smell makes the sorrounding areas a charming place to stay for the easter holidays. The hotel is located in this village, but , even better, is in the nicest residential area of it, high enough and a good place to enjoy the sea views from the hills . this " urbanización" is called "El Tosalet".
There are some wonderful coves within driving distance, but be aware , because during the summer season they use to be crowded, remember : " las caletas", cala Granadella , Isla del Portichol and , driving to Moraira( south ): Cala Sardinera ( only by boat) and playa de Ambolo... (nudiste). Avoid the Arenal beach if you don't like the crowds.
The nightlife is very amusing.
THE HOTEL
Charming, only two floors, and whitetwashed walls.Very peaceful , never crowdy or noisy. It has a gourmet restaurant and a terrace to have breakfast , also a swimming pool and tennis courts. This hotel is a member of the "small luxury hotels of the world " .
ROOMS
Rooms are large enough and are decorated in a good taste, they have marble bathrooms with bathrobe and everything to make your stay comfortable, air conditioning,hair dryer, etc. Comfortable and king size beds or double beds. Big balcony with chairs and a coffe table. They also have garden villas for the whole family, with a maximum capacity of up to 8 people.
FITNESS CLUB
This is a small hotel and the spa to me is simbolic, only a small swimming pool , a small fitness area with all the fitness equipment you need.Turkish bath, sauna. Some treatments- 1 whirpool in a private room, massage rooms, Vichy shower, and more .
CUSTOMER SERVICE
The best .I have only nice words for these people, always with a smile and very helpful and attentive.The last night we stayed there I ate something that made me fell unwell in the morning, and they brought me a fresh orange juice , and let me leave the room after 2 p.m. with no charge -not even for the juice-. Second time we went there, they treat us like regular customers with some special advantages .
summing up, if you are looking for a peaceful stay in a good hotel near the beach, with good quality ,this is your place. You'll feel like you are in heaven.
