Situation
Couldn't be better. You are right on the beach, which I hasten to add is never overcrowded. We could go to the beach at 12 midday and still find available sunloungers and parasols. You do have to pay for the sunbeds and shades (i think about 2 euros per sunbed & 4 euros shades), but to be honest its worth it to keep that very hot sun off you!. Beach was fantastically clean - no broken glass and bottles on this beach. Right next door to the hotel in the Commercial Centre which is a little mini shopping centre and selection of restaurants & bars (not rowdy typical bars - just very nice quaint ones). The downstairs has a bowling alley - perfect for getting out of the midday sun and very reasonably priced (the staff speak excellent English which made it all the easier). There is also a small arcade & cinema (although mostly foreign films). Toilets are in here - perfect for nipping back from the beach - especially which small children. Upstairs there are a selection of clothes shops, sports shops, an excellent toy shop, bank (cheaper to exchange your money here than in hotel), baby shop, jewellery, and the best of all a Eurospar. If you want anything go here. We found as well you were best to buy any bottles of drink you wanted in here like coke, water etc and small snacks for during the day and take these to the pool/beach with you instead of buying drinks at the pool bar. A bottle of water in Eurospar cost about 10p (and you have mini fridges in your room to keep them cool) Its about a 20 min walk into the main resort shopping area although to be honest we didn't find too much here as children were too hot and bothered to explore.
Food & Drink Food was excellent. Yes there was repitition over the period of a fortnight, but there was so much choice you could eat different every night. Breakfast was a selection of rolls, yoghurts, meats, cereals, juices and traditional English breakfast. Some items were in trays to dish straight out, but they would cook the eggs fresh for you in any form you wanted - omlette, fried, scrambled. Do get down earlier or later for breakfast though or as typical you find yourself in a huge queue! Evening food was excellent. We were half board so this was included and we only paid for any drinks we had. Desserts were fabulous, and you can go up as many times as you wish. One tip don't leave your plate too long - if waiters see your plate its whisked away!! Drinks in the bar were very generous - my usual tipple of Tia Maria & Coke worked out at about £3.50/75, but for that you got a huge tumber full that did me nearly all evening!
Pools Perfect. A toddler pool, a 'normal pool', a jacuzzi pool, and deeper pool - all spotlessly clean. Cleaners were visible throughout the whole day cleaning showers and pool toilets which is reassuring. The only downside is just the usual - never enough sunshades. Plenty of sunbeds but not enough of the parasols and it can be extremely hot. The hotel operate a strict policy of no reserving sunbeds with towels. Any towels on sunbeds were confiscated which seems a little harsh but too right to! Don't take towels as its such a hassle cleaning & drying them. You can hire them for 10 euros per towel, and get tickets to exchange them for clean ones 3-4 times a week. At the end of your holiday you get your deposit back - well worth doing.
Rooms & general
Bedrooms are huge. We easily splet four with plenty of storage space. Rooms were cleaned perfectly everyday and the bathrooms were always well stocked and immaculate. The whole hotel was kept immaculate in fact.
I would definitely stay at this hotel again. We are having a break this year as we have stayed 2 years running and want to try somewhere else but we will go back.
I went to this resort in May 2007 with my partner and our (at the time) 4 year old son.
We thoroughly enjoyed our time there and wouldnt think twice about a return visit. The resort is very clean and generally quiet. It is a large complex, so there is enough room for everyone to do their own thing. There are 3 pools, (a kids and 2 adult) however these arent heated and with the weather there quite windy, there can be quite a chill in these during ... ...other 2 pools seperated by a bridge. One of these has a shallow end and also pool chairs, whilst the other is quite deep.
There is also a jacuzzi next to the adult pool, but this isnt always turned on, and can get a few leaves in it from the surrounding trees.
Next to the complex is a shopping centre which can be easily accessed by a side gate which is locked to people outside the complex. The shopping centre has everything you'll really need including ...

Advantages: Everything you need, clean modern peaceful Disadvantages: Some mind find he location a bit too remote from the centre of Caletta
I stayed here at the end of May 2007. Having read some good and some very bad reviews I was a bit concerned about what I would find.
What a pleasant surprise!
The hotel is modern spacious and clean. It is a bit remote and would not suit everyone but it suited me for my week of peace and quiet!
Apparently all rooms in this hotel overlook the sea! Can't confirm that but looking at the design of the hotel I'm sure it is the case. The hotel is set ... ...and the beach. It's location is some way out of Caletta itself which would not suit everyone. It has a shopping centre next door which is mainly full of clothes shops but also has a EuroSpar which is apparently the cheapest in the area. Also a good selection of bars, bowling alley and cinema. Burger King also in this centre. For the children there is the only McDonalds on the island just up the road. The pools and area are clean and there were always ...
